The Art Film of Isaac Julien took place at the Center for Curatorial Studies Museum, in New York. Curated by Amada Cruz, the exhibition included four film installations produced between 1993 and 1999: The Attendant (1993), Trussed (1996), Three (The Conservator's Dream) (1996-99), and The Long Road to Mazatlán (1999). The catalogue contains essays and texts by Amada Cruz, David Deitcher, David Frankel, Isaac Julien, Kobena Mercer, Mark Nash and Jon Savage.
