Isaac Julien's Emerald Portrait part of the Color Code exhibition in San Francisco

McEvoy Arts’ fifth anniversary exhibition Color Code currently on view in their space in San Francisco celebrates the many ways that color is used to create connection, convey meaning, and elicit emotion.

Isaac Julien's photographic artwork Emerald Portrait from his Playtime series created in 2014 is part of the show in which modern and contemporary artworks from the McEvoy Family Collection join four new commissions by Bay Area artists Sadie Barnette, Angela Hennessy, Clare Rojas, and Zio Ziegler to showcase how we bring color into our lives.
