Contemporary Art Society holds online talk with Isaac Julien

Held on Zoom on 26 June, the Contemporary Art Society hosted a live talk with Isaac Julien at his current studio in Santa Cruz, California.
Featuring an excerpt from Lessons of the Hour, not yet exhibited in the UK, the conversation between the artist and CAS' director Carolina Douglas commented on how different moments of Isaac Julien's oeuvre relate with contemporary history.
Passages from Who Killed Colin Roach, 1983 (pictured) and Baltimore, 2003 were also shown.
