Isaac Julien in conversation with Louise Yelin

Resonating Western Union: Small Boats beyond the museum walls while the exhibition remains closed for the public, the Neuberger Museum of Art has organised a virtual conversation between Isaac Julien and curator Louise Yelin, Purchase College professor emerita of literature.

With Isaac Julien speaking from California and Louise Yelin in New York, the online meeting took place on 22nd April. Available online for a limited period of time, the conversation included themes such as political memory, artistic investigations of different cultures, temporality, and poetic and philosophical questions posed by major global crises.
