Hirshhorn Museum celebrates installation of Julien’s monumental photograph Pas de Deux No. 2 (Looking for Langston Vintage Series)
Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden screens Looking for Langston during their Late Night event on Friday, October 11. One of only three late night events that the Hirshhorn is holding this fall and specifically organized to celebrate the opening of Feel the Sun in Your Mouth: Recent Acquisitions.
Isaac Julien’s stunning face-mounted photo Pas De Deux No. 2 (Looking for Langston Vintage Series) starts off the exhibition. Since this photo was shot on the set of Looking for Langston (Film, 1989) the exhibition will be screening the film for all visitors to watch.
