Art Basel Miami Beach 2019: Isaac Julien at Meridians

In a selection by Magalí Arriola, Art Basel Miami new curated section Meridians brings together, in the words of the Mexican curator, ‘works revisiting cultural narratives that deal with issues such as race, gender and territory'. Ms Arriola adds: 'Meridians articulates a very organic exchange of ideas and positions, unveiling conceptual overlaps, themes and interests’.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is Isaac Julien's Lina Bo Bardi - A Marvellous Entanglement, in the première of the nine-screen installation in the United States. The presentation is a collaboration between Victoria Miro Gallery, Galeria Nara Roesler and Jessica Silverman Gallery, in association with Galerie Ron Mandos.
