A 'Total immersion' in Bo Bardi's world
The Contemporary Art Society take on Isaac Julien's A Marvellous Entanglement

A recent article by the director of Contemporary Art Society, Caroline Douglas, highlights the immersive nature of Isaac Julien's poetic meditation on Lina Bo Bardi's universe as seen on A Marvellous Entanglement, currently in exhibition at Victoria Miro Gallery London.
According to Ms Douglas, Bo Bardi's "simplicity with sophistication, and absolute honesty in relation to materials" is reflected in Isaac Julien's series, which is also described by Ms Douglas as "a hymn from one artist to another, across generations, continents and artforms".
