The Leopard at Kunsthal KAdE

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Kunsthal KAdE, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has organised Videoland, an exhibition featuring 11 films that in some way combine the experience of one moment in time with a sense of eternity.

Party based on works from the EKARD Collection, Videoland's premise is inspired by verses of Netherlands’ supreme poet, Joost van den Vondel, who famously wrote in 1632 that ‘eternity goes before the moment’. Isaac Julien is part of the show with the single-channel film installation ‘The Leopard (Western Union: Small Boats)’ from 2007.
